The Ship's Bell for

HMCS QU'APPELLE 264

The bell for HMCS QU'APPELLE H60 / 264 is located at the CFB Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum

This bell, used by HMCS QU'APPELLE 264 was originally from HMS FOXHOUND.  HMS FOXHOUND was transferred to the RCN during WW2 and re-named HMCS QU'APPELLE.  Paid off after the war, the bell was then used by by HMCS QU'APPELLE 264 which was commissioned in 1963.  On the left side of the bell you can see the date 1972 inscribed which would be the year of the baptism of one of the crew member's children who was baptized on the ship.
