The Ship's Bell for
HMCS ATHABASKAN R79 / 219
The ship's bell and captain's cushion for HMCS ATHABASKAN R79 / 219 is on display at the Naval Museum of Halifax, CFB Halifax, NS. The plaque on the right acknowledges the presentation of the cushion to the Captain's Cabin from Captain Gordon L. Edwards. The cushion was made by Able Seaman G.L. Edwards in Athabaskan 219, October 1951.
The names that are engraved on this bell are very hard to read with the naked eye as they were worn away from polishing the bell
