According to his wife's obituary (below), Eric Poole served in the RCN during WW2. When his wife passed away, they had one daughter.
According to NS Vital Stats marriage records, Eric Poole was born in Liverpool, England, son of Christopher and Alice Maud (Setton) Poole of Warrington, Lancashire, England. Eric and Gladys were married on 13 Jan 1942 at Halifax, NS. Eric was 20 years of age at he time of his marriage and was a sailor in the RCNR.
After his wife's death Eric returned to the UK - where he placed his son in an orphanage in England.
