FORD, Malgwyn Charles (Mac), AB, 2669, RCN, MPK - 25 Jun 1940, HMCS FRASER - Born 05 Sep 1916, the son of Jesse and Elizabeth Ford of Success, SK.  Mac was born at Strathclair, MB and enlisted on 12 Mar 1934 at Esquimalt, BC as a boy seaman. He is survived by his wife Hilda Viola (Carr) and son Jerry at Port Clements, BC.

 

AB Ford died when his ship, HMCS FRASER, was in a collision with HMS CALCUTTA 12 miles due west of Pointe de la Coubre light at the Gironde River mouth and sank as a result with the loss of 65 of her crew.
