TULLY, Claire Gordon, CD, Commissioned Officer, RCN, died 01 Dec 1967, 50 Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron / HMCS BONAVENTURE - Son of Frederick and Hattie of Elm Creek, MB; husband of Chardell Tully; father of Randolph, Richard, Kenneth Tully; brother of Glenda.
Commissioned Officer Tully was killed when the Sea King helicopter he was in crashed while operating off HMCS BONAVENTURE.
A memorial service for Claire Gordon Tully, 36, of Dartmouth, lost when the Sea King helicopter in which he was flying crashed into the sea off Bermuda, Nov. 30, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in St. Michael's Chapel, HMCS Shearwater. Born in Culrose, Man., the son of Mrs. Hattie Tully and the late Frederick Tully, he is survived by, besides his mother; wife, the former Chardell Elizabeth Richardson; three sons, Randolph, Richard and Kenneth; and one sister, Glenda Tully, Winnipeg.
