CARRIERE, Robert Herve - Peacefully, at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre in Ottawa, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Marion Hazelton. Loving father of Sandra (William), Gail (Ron), Earl (Janet), Ronald (Debbie), Dianne (John) and Debbie (Brad). Survived by his present wife Marilyn Mielke. He will be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters Rita Stewart and Jeannine Landry and many nieces and nephews. The family thanks all the caring staff and volunteers at the Perley for their attentive care during his stay there. Friends may pay respects at a Service in Memory of Robert, Friday, June 12, 2009 in the Chapel of the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Ave. (Barrhaven) at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Multiple Sclerosis Society appreciated.
