BURCH, Gerald Alington- has set the spinnaker and is heading to the sunset. "Ben" passed away peacefully in Ventura, California at midnight on May 27, 1997 after a short illness. He is survived by children Barbara, David and Valeria and siblings Harold, Walter and Gloria. In his 78th year - still an active yachtsman, golfer, tennis partner, write and artist.

Gerald served in the RCNVR from 30 Nov 1938 to 01 Nov 1945.
