FREEMAN, Terrance Vaughan - 70, died at his home in Louis Head after a short illness. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Alton and Elva (Vaughan) Freeman. He was a veteran of World War I having served in the Royal Canadian Navy and was also employed by the Department of National Defence during part of World War II. Mr. Freeman made his home in Louis Head for the greater part of his life. He was a deacon of the Baptist Independent Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Dixon of Halifax, a son, Chester, of Louis Head, a daughter Clemona (Mrs. D. Bangay), Toronto, Ont., one brother Blanchard, Louis Head, three sisters, Mrs. Dean Giffin, Louis Head, Mrs. Thad Mehlman, Port Mouton and Alberta of Sable River. A daughter Gloria and a sister Mrs. E. Ganong predeceased him. Funeral service was held from his late home conducted by Rev. Richard Jones, assisted by Rev. William Freeman and Rev. Lloyd Bates.
