JODREY, Lester Ray -
age 72, died November 22, 1994, in South Shore Regional
Hospital. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Harold and Cora (Beck)
Jodrey. He served during the Second World War in the RCNVR on the minesweeper
HMCS Red Deer. He was a member of Branch 24, Royal Canadian Legion,
Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Baker; son Gary
and his wife Lillian, Midville Branch; granddaughter, Kaffy, Winnipeg;
brother, Clayton, Woodlawn, Halifax County. Cremation has taken place under
the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Burial will be at a later
date in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Donations may be made to Heart and
Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity. (The Halifax Mail Star, 24
