BARNETT, Alex (Barney) - It is with great sadness that we share the news that Alex “Barney” Barnett passed away on May 10th 2019.

 

“In the early morning hours of Friday May 10th with all his ladies by his side (wife and 3 daughters) Alex Barnett, (Barney) left us to look over us from heaven. He held Kootenay close to his heart and spoke of his time on her everyday.”

HMCS KOOTENAY - AB Barnett was serving in Kootenay as an AB.WU at the time of the explosion
