Arnold Dill died in a hunting accident while out rabbit hunting while home on leave. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dill, Arnold is survived by two brothers, Irving and Murray in Ontario, and a young sister, Gloria, at home. Funeral services was held at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, at 3 p.m. Saturday conducted by the chaplain from HMCS Shearwater, assisted by Reverend J.S. Armstrong, rector of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Upper LeHave. Arnold Dill was buried with full naval honours. Interment took place in Brookside cemetery, Bridgewater, NS.
