CHADDOCK, Harold Robert - 63, Lettard St., Halifax, died Saturday in the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Hanna (Boutilier) Chaddock. He was a sergeant in the merchant navy for a number of years and served overseas during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a member of Scotia Branch 25, Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruby Wambolt; nine children and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, Edward, James, William and Jack; a sister, Myrtle. The body is in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Halifax. No visiting. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. today in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Rev. Calvin Pretty officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
