BOUTILIER, Theodore K. (Ted) - 79, Bedford, died May 19, 1995, in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Mushaboom, Halifax Co., he was a son of the late James W. and Janet (Wambolt) Boutilier. He served with the RCN for 25 years and was a veteran of the Second World War and the Korean War. During his time in the navy, he served on HMCS Uganda, HMCS Sackville, HMCS Huron, and many other ships. He was later employed with DOT for 13 years. He was a member of Vimy branch 27, Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Melanson; son, Richard, Sydney; daughter, Valerie (Mrs. Fred Carter), New Minas; stepdaughter, Theresa Miller, Cambridge, Ont.; sister, Anna Boutilier, Mushaboom; brother, Courtney, Port Hawkesbury; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Gordon, Levi, Ernest, Calvin, Percy, Bill, Clyde, George, Norman; sisters, Jennie, Stella, Kay, Essie, Hilda. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Sunday, funeral 11 a.m. Monday, both in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax, Rev. Donald Ruggles officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
