Born: 1906, Lee Commom, Buckinghamshire, England

 

Died: 21 Nov 1999, St. Catharines, Ontario

 

YOUNG, Gaston George - passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, in his 94th year. Predeceased by May, his beloved wife of 52 years. Cherished father of Alan and his wife Sue Young of Toronto and Marion and her husband Don Markarian of St. Catharines. Dearest grandfather of Andrew and Graeme Young and Katie and Nikki Markarian. Dear brother of Thora Nelson of Alabama. Mr. Young was born in Lee Commom, Buckinghamshire, England. He sailed for Canadian Steamship Lines and served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1940 to 1945. Mr. Young was an employee of Ontario Hydro Decew Falls G.S. for 25 years. Many thanks to the Hemodialysis Unit at the Hotel Dieu Hospital for their kindness. Mr. Young was at the Downtown Chapel of Butler Funeral Home, 33 Duke St. at James. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the chapel of Pleasantview Memorial Gardens on Thursday, November 25, 1999 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hotel Dieu Dialysis Unit or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
