FRALICK, Earl Irwin AB, V31885, RCNVR MPK - 29 Apr 1944, HMCS ATHABASKAN - Son of Charles Irwin Fralick and Mary Ada Fralick, of Port Dufferin, Nova Scotia.
AB Fralickdied when his ship, HMCS ATHABASKAN G07, was sunk in the English Channel on April 29, 1944.
Earl's father, Charles Irving (Irvin/Irwin) Fralick was born in Hacketts Cove, NS; his mother Mary Ada (née Westhaver) Fralick was born in Sheet Harbour Passage, NS. Both are buried in the Port Dufferin Cemetery. Charles Fralick was a WW2 Army veteran. Earl's brother Edward served overseas during WW2 with the Canadian Army. Edward died in 2008.
