McGEE, David William - Passed away June 14, 2019, surrounded by his family. Born April 29, 1939, in Halifax, to Aubrey Francis and Edna (Curran) McGee, David served in the Naval division of the Canadian Armed Forces as a chef and continued that career in various establishments in Halifax. David joins his mother Edna, his father Aubrey, his brother Larry, his nephew, Rylee Sears and other family members and friends. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Audrey (Brown); his daughter, Tammy; his sons, Shawn (Ada), and Randy (Elaine); grandchildren, Mallory, Chelsea, and Cole. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sharon; brother-in-law and best friend, Merl; beloved niece, Holly (Kevin), and children, Joshua and Madison; cherished nephew, Ryan (fiancée Melody), and children, Noah and Paisley; along with his brother and sister-in-law, Buster and Donna Brown, and their children Michael, Heather, Scott and their families; along with many cherished brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held in St. Francis by the Lakes, 192 First Lake Dr., Lower Sackville at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19th, with a reception to follow in the church hall. A private family only burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in David's memory to St. Francis by the Lakes or the charity of your choice.
