CAIN, John Joseph (Jack) - Peacefully in his 80th year , Jack was the loving spouse of Shirley for 51 years. He is survived by his sons Jack (Deanna) and James (Madelaine). Loving Grampi to Connor, Ronan, Tristan, Teagan and Sebastien. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Sharon Phillips and the late Vivian, Ross Cain and the late Cheryl, Lenore Cain and Cindy Yates (Mike) and brother in law Bud Chaston (Shirley), Katharine Greig and the late Cameron. Jack was predeceased by brothers-in-law Jake Chaston (Rita), Frank Chaston (Pat), Joyce Hopkins (Dennis). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was a dedicated employee at International Harvester for 33 years, taught Technical Illustration at Mohawk College, served in the Navy for 5 years, volunteered for the RCN Haida and was a member of the Burl-Oak Legion to list a few of his accomplishments. Golf was his favourite pastime. Family and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of Jack's life at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (Hamilton Spectator 14 Jul 2017)
