SIMPSON, Francis Joseph (Frank) - A Time To Live, October 22, 1921 A Time to Die, May 7, 2016 Our most cherished Frankie slipped away quickly and peacefully with his wife by his side and went to his Lord. Frank leaves behind his beloved wife Dolores, his adored daughter Charna and her husband Karl. Frank loved his grandchildren Kyra, Cierra and Miriam Francis. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and special niece Tina. He is survived by in-laws Barbara and Keith Galway, his golfing buddy; Donald and Sandra Hindmarsh. Predeceased by loving Mary. Predeceased by his siblings John, Walter, Victoria, Stella, Vera, Anne, Nellie and parents Carl and Anastasia. Frank was affectionately referred to as "Sir Frank" due to his most gentlemanly demeanor. Never a complainer and filled with an abundance of patience. He loved golfing, bowling, building things for his home, keeping his tools, garage and shed organized. He loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163 and the Hamilton Air Force Club. Frank was a WWII Veteran RCN serving on the North Atlantic Theater from 1939 to 1945 as a Petty Officer. Frank retired from TH&B Railway where he enjoyed many years. The walls of his recreation room are filled with his train pictures. A most special thank you to Frank's long time devoted friend, Wayne, for all his years of friendship, and the staff at the Meadows for their care over the past years. Frank sends his ladies an affectionate "cheek peck."
