JEWETT, Sandy Eugene - Peacefully at the McMaster Medical Centre on Sunday February 20, 2011 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Nora. Loving father of Brian (Lynn Clayfield) of Waterloo and daughter Barbara Jewett. Grandpa will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Bronwen and Roslyn Clayfield-Jewett. Survived by his sister Josephine Billings of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Sandy was a veteran of WWII with the R.C.N. and a long time employee of Stelco. The family will receive friends at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Ancaster Chapel, 378 Wilson Street East (www.db-ancaster.ca) on Thursday, February 24, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. and from 10 - 11 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2010 until the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens and if so desired donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the V.O.N. would be appreciated.
