LUTZ, Hilman Hennigar - 61, 141 Harmony Road, Truro, formerly of Dartmouth, died Tuesday at home. Born in Lake Paul, he was a son of Mrs. Flossie Lutz and the late Burton Lutz. He was employed with the CNR as a machinist. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. He was a member of Somme branch 031, Royal Canadian Legion, Dartmouth. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Hollingsworth; a daughter, Carol (Mrs. Kenneth Butler), Lower Sackville; two sons, David, Dartmouth; John, Lake Paul; a stepdaughter, Karen (Mrs. Howard Harvey), Truro; two stepsons, Roger Brown, Truro; Robert Brown, Onslow; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Cross, Lake Paul; Erma (Mrs. Dallas Simpson), Berwick; a brother, Carson, Lake Paul; nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Yvonne Franklin; two brothers, Austin and Russell. The body is in Mattatall's Funeral Home, Truro, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Canon Eric Ingraham officiating. Burial will be in Terrace Hill Cemetery, Truro.
