McCULLY, Howard Wesley - 81, 2 Keating Rd., Halifax, died September 4, 1996, in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Glenmont Mountain, he was a son of the late Henry and Laila McCully. He was employed as a plumber. He served in the RCN during the Second World War. He was a charter member of Royal Canadian Legion, Fairview Branch. Surviving are his second wife, Venita; daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Robert Fancy), Marlene (Mrs. John Bowser), Sackville, Halifax, Co.; Nancy (Greencorn), Canso; Colleen Sieniewicz, Halifax; sons, Barry, Halifax; Brian, Dartmouth; stepdaughter, Marilyn (Mrs. Murray Hutchinson), Halifax; stepson, James Nicoll, Omaha, Nebr.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Schofield, Halifax; Blanch Stykes, Sackville; brothers, Ernest, Oshawa, Ont.; Johnny, Billtown, Kings Co. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Eileen Power. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, legion service 7:30 p.m. today, both in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor Street. Funeral will be 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Coronation Avenue, Rev. George Leach and Rev. Kevin Little officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family flowers only.
