LOHNES, Baron Freeman - 63, of Cherry Hill, Queens County, died at home Saturday. He was born in Cherry Hill, son of the late James Freemen and Mabel (Teal) Lohnes. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served as an able seaman in the Royal Canadian Navy, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch #24, Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl McRae; a son James, Lake Echo; a daughter Linda (Mrs. Ronald Dagley), Italy Cross; a brother Franklin, Milton, Queens County; three sisters, Mrs. Gardaline Ballam, Spryfield; Rita (Mrs. Henry Kelly), Halifax; Ruth Lohnes, Cherry Hill; three granddaughters. The body is in Sweeny's Funeral home Bridgewater, where the funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Lic. Patrick Maxham officating, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
