WATERS, Brian James - 65, Dartmouth, died February 1, 2004, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in England, he was a son of the former Constance Nicols, Dartmouth and the late James Waters. He was a member of the the Royal Canadian Navy retiring after 32 years of service. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Centennial Branch, and a member of the Chiefs and Petty Officers Association. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, the former Gertrude "Trudy" Dexter; daughters, Cheryl (Rick) Hayton, Virginia; Maureen Waters, Rawdon; Janet (Eric) Keefe, Toronto; Cindy (Mike) Riley, Manitoba; 10 grandchildren; uncle, Walter Shirley, Dartmouth. He was predeceased by sister, Cathy; brothers, Keith, Francis. Family will receive visitors 2-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Friday, February 6, in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St., Dartmouth, Rev. Patricia Malin officiating.
