For Posterity's Sake A Royal Canadian Navy Historical Project
In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
NAUGLE, Charles Wayne (Chuck) - of Eastern Passage, passed away on July 24, 2019 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born February 1, 1949, he was the son of the late Hector Naugle and Eileen Grant. Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Sheree; daughter, Kellie (Tim); son, Charles (Chuck); grandkids, Jared, Reese, Kia, Isis and Odessa; sisters, Heather (Bob) Cox, Marilyn (Lyal) Dearman; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Brian, predeceased) Naugle, Judy (Richard) L'Heureux and families. Chuck served his country for 20 years with the Royal Canadian Navy. Following this he worked at the McKay Bridge with the Commissionaires for over 25 years as well as bartending at the Royal Canadian Legion in Eastern Passage. Known by many as a kind and quiet soul, Chuck enjoyed spending his free time with his family whom he dearly loved. In recent years Chuck developed a keen interest in stock car racing and often counted the days to the next race. Chuck loved his music and it brought him a great comfort; especially during his many rounds of treatment. Special thanks to our families and friends, Chuck's medical team and especially the Dixon Centre 11th floor Chemo nurses and staff. We appreciated each and every one of you. In keeping with Chuck's wishes there will be no service. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, August 7th at 7 p.m. in Royal Canadian Legion, Eastern Passage. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. (Halifax Chronicle-Herald 31 Jul 2019)
