In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
John served in the RCNVR during WW2 as a Signalman, receiving his initial training at HMCS Stadacona II in Halifax. In 1966 John and his family moved Massachusetts, then in 1970 to Bennington, Vermont where he resided until he passed away in 2000. While in Massachusetts he enjoyed sailing (a lot) on Buzzards Bay. His ashes were scattered on Buzzards Bay in September of 2001.
John's brother Keith Morrison who served in the RCN died in 1951 while serving in HMCS Magnificent.
