The Marriage Register at NS Vital Stats for Max Durnford give his full names as Ned Maxwell Durnford. He married Rachel Grace William on 12 Dec 1941 in Halifax. He was the son of Edwin Durnford and Elizabeth (Neil) Durnford. At the time of his marriage Max lists his occupation as RCNVR. Max Durnford is buried in the Shepherd's Hill Cemetery, Riverport, Lunenburg Co., NS
