CROWE, Gordon Lee (Grizz) - Age 65 of Dart mouth, passed away at home on September 16, 2014. Born in Collingwood on May 14, 1949, he was a son of Bud Crowe and the late Ruth Crowe. Gordon served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 34 years. He loved to ride and was a founding member of the Defenders Motorcycle Club. Surviving are his wife, Christine McRae; sons, Jason Kyle Crowe, Jody Lee Crowe; daughter, Lindsay Crowe; brothers, the ate Steve (Myrna), Harold (Cindy), Glen, Truro; stepdaughters, Mary Ann, Allison, Stephanie; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one more on the way "Little Cub" grandson. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 2-4 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Following the celebration there will be a gathering in The Ship Victory, Windmill Road Dartmouth, starting at 5 p.m. A thank you to the VON, Halifax Po ice, and EMT for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gordon can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or IWK Health Centre Foundation. (The Halifax Chronicle Herald)
