PURDY, Gordon Francis, Sto 1c, V52969, RCNVR, killed - 14 Feb 1945, 29TH MTB FLOTILLA - Son of Fredrick and Ada Beatrice Purdy, of St. Catharines, Ontario.
Stoker Purdy was killed in a fire and resulting explosions on MTBs at Ostend, Belgium. He is buried in the Canadian War Cemetery, Adegem, Belgium.
