BOOTS, John (Jack) - With sadness we announce the passing of our husband and father at the Hospice of Windsor on September 19, 2019 with family by his side, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of 67 years and best friend of Winnie. Proud father of his five sons, John (Deb) of Mississauga, Raymond (Darlene) of Newmarket, Philip (Jane), Daniel (Carole), and Paul (Sheri). Blessed by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Georgina Boots, brothers Bob (Faye) and Bill (Margaret) Boots. Jack proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII. Jack approached life with dignity, kindness and wit. He enjoyed golfing, Blue Jay games and loved the Track. The family wishes to thank the loving and caring staff at Sunrise Assisted Living and Kayla for their care of Jack these last two years. Special thanks to the dedicated and compassionate team at Hospice. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated.
