Cecil John Jesse Beanlands 

 

Lieutenant (E)*, O-5110, RCN

 

Born: 29 Apr 1903, Seabright, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

Died: 27 Apr 1973, Grand Lake Station, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia

 

Cecil Beanlands served in the RCNR as an ERA and attained the rank of Chief ERA before commissioning from the ranks. He was appointed as an A/Warrant Engineer, RCNR and then transferred to the RCN.  He was honourably released on 04 May 1953 as a Lt (E)*, RCN

HMC DOCKYARD - Appointed to HMC Dockyard 21 Apr 1942 as an A/Warrant Engineer, RCNR (Navy List Sep 1942)  Transferred to RCN as A/Wt (E) (Navy List Dec 1943)

HMC DOCKYARD - Appointed to HMC Dockyard, Motor Launch Repair Depot 15 Oct 1943 an an A/Warrant Engineer, RCN

HMC DOCKYARD - Appointed to HMC Dockyard, Motor Launch Repair Depot 01 Jun 1944 as a A/Warrant Engineer, RCN (Navy List Sep 1944)

HMC DOCKYARD - Appointed to HMC Dockyard, Staff of Manger Engineering Department 01 Feb 1946 as a Commissioned Engineer (Cd Eng), RCN (Navy List Apr 1946)

HMC DOCKYARD - Appointed to HMC Dockyard 16 Feb 1947 as a Cd Eng, RCN (Navy List Jul 1947)

RCN BARRACKS HALIFAX - Appointed to RCN Barracks Halifax, Mechanical Training Establishment 13 Mar 1950 as a Lt (E)*, RCN (Navy List Jul 1950)
