DIEBEL, John Keith - A former resident of Sudbury, Keith Diebel of Victoria Place, Bobcaygeon, ON, died suddenly Friday in Lindsay. He was 62. Born in Mindemoya and educated in Sudbury, he had lived in Bobcaygeon for the past two years. he was a geologist for Inco Ltd. for many years, retiring in 1981, and was a member of the Inco Quarter Century Club. He was of the Anglican faith. Son of the late Ed and Anna Diebel, he had served overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, the former Shill Shillabeer, whom he married in Victoria, BC in 1942, one daughter Sandra (Mrs. Jim Bullock) of Sudbury and two grandchildren, Alison and David. Also surviving are two brothers, Harold of Copper Cliff and Bob of Espanola. Funeral was in the Lougheed Funeral Home today 1 p.m., Rev. E.B. Paterson officiating.
