Edwin Duncan (Ed) Reddon

Died: 27 Jan 1994, Calgary, Alberta

 

REDDON, Edwin Duncan (Ed) - of Calgary passed away on January 27, 1994 at the age of 69 years. Ed was born 19 May 1923 in Olds, Alberta. He settled in Calgary (Bowness) after serving on HMCS New Waterford during World War Two, where he has since resided. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-seven years, Eilleen in July of 1993, daughter Bonnie Reddon Kaake. He is survived by daughter Pat (Paul) Davidson of Calgary; daughter Edna (Frank) Westerhausen of Winfield, BC; son Wayne (Sandi) Reddon of St. Albert, Alberta; brother Art (Midge) Reddon of Edmonton; sister Jean Tromp of Calgary; brother Jim Reddon of Laguna Beach, California; son-in-law Ken Kaake of Vancouver, BC; ten grandchildren and many other family members and longtime friends. Dad was a loving and devoted husband and father and will be sadly and deeply missed by all. Memorial services will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel, 3220-4 Street N.W. on Monday, January 31, 1994 at 3:00 p.m. with Linda Hunter of Foothills United Church officiating. Cremation. If friends desire, donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to the Bonnie Reddon Kaake Education Fund, c/o/ Foothills Hospital Foundation, 1403-29 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2N 2T9

 

Ed was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 238
