MacDONALD, A. Francis (Frank) - was born at the Charlottetown Hospital on the day of its official opening. He was educated at Queen Square School and St Dunstan’s College. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and worked for CN for 39 years. He was an active and generous community and church volunteer, a life-long member of The Royal Canadian Legion and the Knights of Columbus and served as Village Commissioner and Chairman of the Parkdale Village Commission in the village’s early years. Francis passed away on April 6, 2010 at 85 years of age.
