They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
SCHIELE, Nicole Patricia, A/SLt, C.A.F. (Navy), died - 17 Feb 1994, HMCS SASKATCHEWAN - Daughter of Gunther and Martha Schiele of Calgary, AB.
While on a routine training dive in Howe Sound with six other divers, their team encountered difficulties at depth and A/SLt Schiele and her dive partner, AB Sandy Schreurs, died. Her ashes were committed to the sea off Victoria, BC.
