ROACH, John Lenwood - of Upper Tantallon, age 63 passed away February 8, 2020 in Hospice Halifax. Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., he was a son of George and Gertrude (Laybolt) Roach. He served 32 years in the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of the Fairview Legion. Len was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and loved NASCAR racing, gardening, working on cars in his garage, travelling south with his wife, and a good cigar. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl (Arsenault); daughters, Melanie Lynn Gough (Charles), Jillian Marie Roach-Teague (Kevin); sister, Elvie Wilson (Gordon); brother, Brad (Lorraine); grandchildren, Keilan, Jaelya, Liam, Jahmiya, Kenyonn and Amelia. Predeceased by his parents, George and Gertrude; brother, Blake; and Sinclair Laybolt, who was like a brother. No visitation by request. Memorial service Thursday, February 13th at 11 a.m. in J.A.
