DENSMORE, Guy Grant - age 83 of East Noel, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2020 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor surrounded by family. Born in East Noel on October 2, 1936, he was a son of the late Maxwell and Mary (Densmore) Densmore. Guy served in the RCN for 14 years, then carried out the remainder of his working career at the Halifax Shipyards where he retired. Guy loved to dance and listen to country music, particularly his favourite artist Hank Williams. He had a passion for horse racing as he attended many races at Truro Raceway. He is survived by brothers, Clarence Densmore, Pembroke, Ont.; Aubrey (Bertha) Densmore, East Noel; sister, Eleanor (Charles) Trenholm, Avondale; along with many nieces and nephews. Guy was predeceased by sisters, Edna Smith, Almina Neil, Carrie Neil, Madeline Hamilton, Audrey Murphy and Mildred Densmore. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Guy may be made to East Noel Cemetery Fund.
