MAH, William James (Willie) - 63, Dartmouth, formerly Sydney, Cape Breton, passed away peacefully July 6, 2008, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Marie Mah, who he met in Ireland while serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. He is also survived by his children, William Mah (Esther), and Sarah Mah-Fraser (Christopher); grandchildren, Stephanie Mah and Alex Mah; siblings, Nellie MacKinnon, Evangeline Piercey (Wally), Rose Evans (Tom), Edward Mah (Ollie), and Stanley Mah (Rose). He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Mah, and parents, Norah and John Mah. Willie joined the navy in January 1963 and retired Petty Officer 2nd class December 1993. Willie was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint Vincent De Paul Society. He was kind, funny, outgoing, generous, loved life, and loved his family dearly and cat Missie. Visitation in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St., on Tuesday, July 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Willie was a long-time member of St. Clement's Catholic Church where his funeral mass will be held Wednesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. (The Halifax Herald 07 Jul 2008)
