SLEEP, Donald Charles - Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday, October 10, 2014 in his 90th year. Don was the beloved husband of Gwen, for 66 years. Loving father of Ken and Susan, Bob and Jane, Linda and Ken Fildes, Cathy and David, Carole and Frank, and Gordon and Wendy. Cherished grandfather of 15, and remembered always by his great grandchildren. Don is survived by his brother Grant of Brighton, and is predeceased by his brothers Stuart and Kenneth and sister Doreen. Don was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy and served on the HMCS Ingonish. Don was also the original owner and founder of Sleep Auto Body and Lindsay Crane Rentals. In keeping with Don's wishes cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will take place at a later date. The family wishes to thank the Community Care Kawartha Lakes, and the Staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital for all their care and support. Memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital - Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
