Died: 31 Jul 2007, Victoria British Columbia

 

VAN'T HAAFF, George Edward - suddenly July 31, 2007. He leaves his devoted wife of 60 years, Patricia, sons John, Owen, Lloyd. Much decorated WW 2 and Korean war veteran, mentioned in dispatches. Memorial celebration of his life, Friday, 7 Sept. 2 pm, RC Legion 411 Gorge Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C & POs Ass'n., 418 Admirals Rd., V9A 2N7 or St. Andrews 49, 650 Fisgard St., V8W 1R6 for their charity work. (Victoria Times Colonist 01 Sep 2007)
