SINCLAIR, Peter - of Vermilion passed away Oct. 13, 2010 at the age of 87 years following a brief battle with cancer. Peter was born at Wakaw. SK Aug. 20, 1923. In 1940 he joined the navy serving on a mine sweeper. Following his discharge in 1945 he did various jobs living in Sask., AB and B.C. In 1958 he became a town constable in Pincher Creek, AB. In 1961 he joined the Alberta Gov't Inspection Service Branch - Drumheller office. In 1965 accompanied by wife and 2 children he transferred to Vermilion office at Gov't Weigh Scales. In 1982 he took early retirement which allowed him to actively pursue his favorite pastime - fishing. In later years he shared that passion with his families and grandchildren. Peter is survived by wife Chris, son Garth, daughters Beverly (Edward) Yaceyko, Judy (Lindsey) Bates, Debbie (Dean) Riou, 11 grandchildren, two sisters Muriel and Olga. Predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Memorial Service was held Tuesday, Oct. 19 at Vermilion Senior Citizens Centre.
