In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HANBURY, Patricia Louisa (Brock) - died peacefully at her home in Victoria, BC on Sunday, January 14, 2007. Daughter of Eustace and Margaret Brock (Jukes), she is predeceased by her husband, Ross Malcolm; brother, Jeffry; and sisters, Miriam Cox and Gaie Donaldson. She is survived by her sister, Joan Dutton of Waterloo, Ontario; and her sons, Ross Alexander of Victoria and Eric Bruce of Toronto. Sincere thanks, affection, and appreciation are given by both sons to Ross’ partner, Mary Jo Greene, for her many hours of thoughtful and compassionate care for their mother on a daily basis. Mention of thanks is also made to Nada and Dianna, her Caregivers, and the Palliative Care Response Team. Private family interment of ashes will take place. Donations may be made to Victoria Hospice or the Red Cross. (The Globe and Mail 18 Jan 2007)
Patricia did not talk much about the war and only mentioned that she used to track U-boat signals.
