DOYLE, Donald Francis - 88, a Canadian Navy veteran of World War II, who was presented a Citation for distinguished service from the King of England, a kind and gentle loving man who will be sadly missed, passed away at Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre on Thursday, April 13, 2000. Visitation took place on Sunday, April 16, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Cruikshanks Funeral Home, 2032 Robie Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Funeral services took place on Monday, April 17, at noon, officiated by the Rev. Jim Martel. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations are appreciated to a charity of the donor's choosing.
