KNAPP, William A. - 50, of Halifax died Tuesday in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Edward A. Knapp and the late Mrs. Barbara Knapp. He served with the Canadian Navy during the Second World War and was employed with the Royal Bank of Canada in Halifax for 25 years. Besides his father he is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Hilda M. Knapp; a sister, Mrs. Rose King, Toronto; two brothers, Edward A. and Ralph L.; two half-brothers, Robert A. and Douglas L. all of Halifax and a step-brother Cyril Sutherland, Moncton. The body is at the Halifax Funeral Home, Quinpool Road. Funeral service will be held from the chapel Friday at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Dennis Andrews. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
