Henry Van Ee

Died: 28 Oct 2020, Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia

 

*A ceremony was held for the Committal of Ashes of Henry Van Ee to the sea from HMCS SACKVILLE on 01 May 2022 during Battle of the Atlantic Ceremony

 

Van Ee, Henry - age 86, of East Chezzetcook, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2020, in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Lunteren, Netherlands, he was a son of the late Walter and Francina (Roelofsen) Van Ee. Henry immigrated to Canada with his family in 1948 and joined the RCN in 1952. Henry is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Daye); children and their spouses, Karen (Gerald) Brown, Glenda (Bradley) Nickerson, Vernon (Norine) Van Ee and Lynn (John) MacLeod; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Gladys), Frank (Willy). Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at his request. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Twin Oaks Hospital for their exceptional care.
