POIDEVIN, James Jacob (Jim) - After a short illness at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 30th, 2010 in his 82nd year. Jim Poidevin of Orillia. Beloved husband of Muriel Poidevin (nee Fendley) of 52 years. Much loved father of Steven Nicholson of Brampton and David Poidevin of Toronto. Uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E, Orillia on Thursday September 2nd, at 1 p.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian National Institute of the Blind or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family
