In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PAYNE, James Gordon - Peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Wednesday, January 28, 2004. He served with the RCNVR in WWII. He was retired for 22 years after 45 years with Kodak Canada. Lifetime member of Stevenson/ Caledonia Masonic Lodge. Beloved husband and friend of Pearl for 61 years. Loving father of Carole and her husband Bill Fee of Flemington, NJ, Gail and her husband Denis Leinster and Bev and her husband Jim Best. Grandfather, 'Poppy', to Kevin, Craig, Scott, David, Lindsay and Steven. Great-grandfather of Nathaniel and Adam. Brother of Winnifred Wainwright and Marjorie (deceased). Gordon will be missed by all. A Family service was held on Friday, January 30th. If desired, donations may be made to the CNIB or the Salvation Army. (The Globe and Mail 31 Jan 2004)
