DAWE, Kenneth Gerard (Ken) - age 73 years, of Eastern Passage, passed away peacefully on November 26th, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Ken was born on June 3, 1947 in South Bar, Cape Breton. Ken retired from the Royal Canadian Navy after serving 35 years as a Petty Officer 1st Class in Halifax. Ken was also a member of the Nova Scotia Knights of Columbus. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Arimborgo of Lima, Peru; his six children; and his surviving siblings, Sharon Doke of Eastern Passage; Martha "Winnie" Roy of Eastern Passage; Terry (Sandra) Dawe of Edmonton, Alta.; Harold (Louise) Dawe of Osoyoos, B.C.; Robert (Joanne) Dawe of Kelowna, B.C.; and Ronald (Linda) Dawe of Courtenay, B.C. A cremation has taken place. A ceremony of remembrance will not be held at this time due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Donations can be made in memory of Kenneth Dawe to Feed Nova Scotia.
