ZWICKER, Henry Freeman - of Lunenburg was buried in Hillcrest Cemetery following funeral service at St. John's Anglican Church Thursday conducted by Rev. Austin Munroe. Born at Lunenburg he was the son of the late William Alexander and Bessie Sybelle Zwicker. He was educated at the Lunenburg Academy, received his arts degree from University of Kings College when it was at Windsor, and post graduate studies in banking and commerce at Eastman's School, New York. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the First World War. At the time of his death he was owner of W. A. Zwicker and Co., a director of the Lunenburg Foundry and one of the organizers and directors of the Lunenburg Arena Company. He also served for seven years on the Lunenburg town council. Surviving are his wife Mabel; one daughter, Joanne (Mrs. Ian McKee) Halifax, and four grandsons. (Halifax Chronicle-Herald, Mon, 20 Jul 1970)
