MUNDAY, A. Roy - At Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2008. Captain A. Roy Munday of Goderich in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mary (Schwanz) Munday. Loving father of Dawn Marie Munday (Paul CARSON), Mary Diane Munday (Keith Raymond), Cheryl Anne Munday (Jim WeissS.) Dear grandfather of Mitchell Brandon Lassaline and Bradley Terrance Lassaline. Also survived by sister Joan Stevenson. Predeceased by parents Daisy and Bertram Munday, sister Evelyn Carroll and brother Jack Munday. Roy was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy during World War 2 and continued his sailing career with Upper Lakes Shipping. Friends will be received at McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Cambria Rd. at East Street, Goderich on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment Maitland Cemetery. Royal Canadian Legion Br. 109 will hold a service on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association gratefully acknowledged.
