In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
FRASER, Peter Lee - passed away January 6, 2021 in Thunder Bay, Ontario at the age of 64. Born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, and growing up in Saskatchewan, Peter joined the Navy in 1977, where he was trained as a radio operator. After his service in the Navy, he continued with his training at Red River College in Winnipeg. This certification allowed him to work with a variety of offshore businesses prior to settling down with the Canadian Coast guard, first in Owen Sound, Ontario, and finally in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he lived and worked for over 30 years as a radio operator.
Peter was a loved and valued friend to many in Thunder Bay and Saskatoon. He is survived and sorely missed by his two children, Stephanie (Jean-Alexandre) and Mathieu (Vanessa) and their mother, Francine; his three grandchildren, Olivia (4), Owen (2), and Tristan (1); brother Hartley, and his two sisters, Dianne (Pat) and Susan (Ron).
At a future date, as health restrictions allow, a celebration of his life will be held in Saskatoon. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made in Peter's name to Watersheds Canada, or any other charity close to your heart. (Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal 26 Jan 2021)
